I feel strongly that the Italians make the finest shoes in the world. I believe that the artisanship of the Italian shoemakers is second to none. They take tremendous pride in crafting a beautiful shoe. Italian leather tanneries are the best in the world. Just touching a shoe or boot made in Italy convinces most people of the amazing quality. Some may feel they don't want to spend the money it takes to buy Italian but let me tell you. You get what you pay for and Italian shoes are worth every penny. From a comfort standpoint a shoe is only as comfortable as the quality of the materials that the shoe is made from. Again, you get what you pay for. If you buy a shoe that uses materials that are cheap you get a cheap shoe. They will not last as long nor will they be as comfortable as a beautifully made, handcrafted shoe from Italy. Equally important is how they look. For many people their image is very important to them. Putting the proper outfit together is important to gain credibility and the most important item in that outfit is your shoes. The wrong shoes can show that you are only willing to go half way. Buying a good Italian shoe should last you at least three times as long as an inexpensive shoe but the look should last much longer then that as Italian designers are in the forefront of the world's shoe designs. Any store that carries shoes direct from Italy are selling the styling that will be in department stores the next year, but sadly those versions are often inexpensive knock-offs.
If you want to stand out in a crowd, if you want to experience amazing quality, styling and comfort, if you want to invest in a shoe or boot that will last for years, Italian made is the way to go.
